Just like that we are now in to the last 5 rounds and without a doubt the top 5 can go any way! The top 6 teams all play 3 of the top 6 teams in the run home so no easy run for anyone! Every win is now critical for any of them and with a bit of luck clubs with injuries will start getting some players back.

Knights Vs Valley - MOTR - This is my pick for game of the round and there are 3 contenders for this. Knights and Valley have not been convincing of late and this is a must win for both teams. Hopefully the locals don't run through the arena with cops in tow and we get a good game. There have been some classic games between these 2 in the last couple years and this will be no different. Valley by 4 points

Dockers Vs Lakes - The Dockers have come alive in recent weeks and not sure why the turn around in form but great to see and they have livened up the competition. Lakes are red hot and won't drop this though. Lakes by 4 goals

Mossy Vs Falcons - Mossy with a nice win over the Blues now take on the rampant Falcons who had a bad patch but have come back to the group in recent weeks and now pushing for top 5. This will be good to see if Mossy have fallen a bit in recent weeks. Mossy at home by 3 goals

Bulls Vs Hawks - Bulls are on fire and want to avoid relegation and now get a chance at The Hawks after beating Valley on the weekend. Hawks have been ok but without being great and should win here but don't be surprised if the Bulls get up. Hawks by 4 goals

Cats Vs Blues - This is going to be a slobber knocker! Blues won the last grand final rematch and the Cats are easily my pick for team of the year. They burnt me last week so now i'm tipping the Blues by 4 goals.

good luck all and enjoy the frothies!

Once again we got too see some close games and really opens up the to five while the bottom five will also make things interesting to not get relegated. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few of these bottom sides cause some upsets to shake things up! Gossy did enough to get the win, they couldn’t kick straight and Harbour remained competitive. Similar situation with lakes and Kingsley as lakes reclaimed second spot. Kwinana got back a few fifo boys to get up in a one point thriller, a few controversy umpiring decisions made in the final minutes of the game tho from what I’m hearing. I warned valley to be aware of the sleeping bull... Quinn’s got up in a six point win. Mossy Park did what they needed to against willo.

Yes I agree Viper, GOTR. A win for Kwinana or valley will put a small gap between 4th and 5th. Valley probably dropping one they shouldn’t have last week and depending on what Kwinana side turns up we will be in for a good game. Valley by 9 points

The second rematch for the grand final replay. Harbour got revenge in round five but lakes have found a lot better from then. Lakes by 4 goals

Well it doesn’t really get any easier for piara as they look to keep there season alive and stay in touch with the top five. A win for Mossy and they are guaranteed top spot. Mossy by 5 goals

Quinn’s showed some hart last week to get up with a win. Gossy also with a win and now make the big trip out to the bull ring. A win for Quinn’s keeps them out of relegation talks. Quinn’s by 14 points

Last v last. Question.... when was the last time we seen two sides get relegated then relegated again the next year? Not the best of seasons for these guys but I’m going with Kingsley at home by 3 goals.

 Good luck everyone.

Well KTB you picked it, I said it could easily happen and The Bulls are now rampaging! Valley one week, Hawks the next!

Knights Vs Valley was a bloody good game! I left just before quarter time and it was all 1 way traffic to that point with The Knights kicking 4 to Valley's 1 but Valley kicked back with 2 late ones. They took control in the second and was just a ripping contest all the way through.

Lakes gave the Dockers a fair touch up

Mossy did the same to The Falcons

Blues beat The Cats by 4 goals

only 1 team will go down KTB which is going to be Kingsley now. With Secret Harbour leaving 2 will come up but only 1 team will get relegated.

The other factor to keep in mind is that there are only 9 teams in C1 this year (after SNESA went to a single team), so no team may end up being relegated in order to have 10 teams in both C1 and C2.  2 teams go up into C1 with 1 coming down to C2 fills SNESA's vacated spot in C1 and leaves C2 a team short.  Meanwhile Secret Harbour's withdrawal to the Peel league would create a situation where 2 teams would come up from C3, with no relegation back the other way keeping C2 at 10 teams in 2024.  Full promotion and relegation can be effected from C3 and below.

that is correct. I forgot about C1 having 9, good point.

Kingsley could still request to go down a grade and it could be granted after only winning "X" games by the end of the year. Has happened before where a third team from C3 comes up to replace them.
