nearly 2/3'rds done and haven't Piara shaken up the ladder in the last 2 weeks. What was looking like a set 5 is now up in the air and again the Kingsley Cats go down by bugger all. They are the best 10th team in any grade! They certainly aren't disgracing themselves in their performances but they need a few results to go their way. Here is a list of their results so far 10L, 16L, 4W, 3L, 17L, 28L, 1L, 27L, 66(win taken away), 73L, 6L. 1 blowout ... show me another team in 10th with that record. They have pushed every team and made them earn their wins and I reckon they'll scrape few wins in shortly.

Hawks Vs Valley - 2nd for MOTR but if the Hawks lose they're likely out of the 5. They were beaten by Piara but they lead until 5 mins to go and 2 undisciplined acts cost them. One was a red card downgraded to a yellow after the siren so he's very lucky to be playing this week that lad. Valley did enough to beat The Dockers although a bucket load more scoring shots could have easily been a 10 goal win. I'm tipping Valley by 8 points

Dockers Vs Cats - I don't care I'm getting on The Cats to win this one and a few more! They lost by 6 to Mossy on the weekend.

Mossy Vs Lakes - MOTR - Are a rampaging Cockburn ready for their 3rd challenge in about 4 weeks. They are red hot at the moment and Mosman are so-so. Mossy won the first encounter by 22 but I'm tipping lakes by 4 points

Bulls Vs Falcons - Falcons are steam rolling at the moment and heading for 5th spot. They need a big percentage boost and will hope the bulls roll over but not much chance of that. Falcons by 5 goals

Knights Vs Blues - Knights coming off a loss to The Lakes and will want a big margin here to cement their spot in the 5. Blues trying to avoid relegation are in trouble I think. 8 goals

Cheers Viper. Looks like you have done your homework on Kingsley. I think they have always been in the contest but maybe just lacked that bit of polish to finish off. If the same group stick around next year then there is no reason Kingsley can give it a real crack. They just fell short against Mossy on the weekend. Valley brought Harbour back to reality last week. Willo were close but no match for the bulls. Lakes should of spanked Kwinana, which leaves me asking do Kwinana have a few FIFO boys that they rely on? Very hot and cold. I got to see the last quarter of the Piara game and it was very close, piara got back a few to take the lead, although for probably the last 3mins Gossy had it in there forward fifty and couldn’t convert. The Piara backline definitely worked overtime to lock things down.

 Gossy and valley will definitely be an interesting one, a win for valley keeps them in the three and a loss for Gossy could possibly see them out of the 5. Hard to go past Gossy at home tho. By 3 goals 

 Harbour at home I think should get the job done although Kingsley have been there abouts so I wouldn’t be surprised if if they get up. Harbour by 2 points 

 First v second is my pick for GOTR, lakes are setting c2 on fire at the moment while Mossy only just got the job done last week. The last game between these two seen Mossy get up by 22points, but I think it will be closer this time and I’m tipping Lakes by 7 points.


 Piara with the road trip to Quinn’s this week and it never easy at the bull ring. Quinn’s with a much needed win to avoid relegation and Piara are knocking on the door to enter the top 5. Piara by two goals.



 Kwinana need to have some consistency if the want be competitive come finals. Willo are not going to lay down that easy and in sure will put up a big fight. Kwinana by 4 goals

Well I tipped the margin for GOTR but got it wrong .... Mossy by 4 points over Lakes

Valley led all day and lost it in the last few mins by 1 point in a cracking game out at Gossy

Dockers took care of The Cats by 19 points

Bulls lost by 1 point to The Falcons which is surprising given the Falcons last couple weeks

The Blues torched The Knights .... 39 points!
