Quick look at the ladder coming in to the halfway point and our first weekend of wet weather football this weekend.

Mossy 7/1 144%
Valley 6/2 130%
Lakes 5/3 123%
Knights 5/3 109%
Hawks 4/3/1 124%
Falcons 3/5 76%
Blues 3/5 62%
Bulls 2/5/1 87%
Cats 2/6 86%
Dockers 2/6 81%

Top 5 constantly moving and the battle for relegation is as well. Great to see on any given day any team can win.

Dockers Vs Knights - This is like a home game for these 2. Only week they don't travel! Dockers with a nice win over the Falcons on the weekend but different story taking on The Knights who are solidifying their spot in the 5. Knights by 5 goals in the wet.

Lakes Vs Valley - MOTR - Top 5 clash here with the winner likely to have 2nd spot on the ladder. It is going to be ugly and messy on Saturday with the rain all week and so far scheduled for Saturday. Been a number of years since these 2 have played each other and I'm tipping Valley by 9 points.

Mossy Vs Bulls - Mossy with a nice 5 goal win over the Knights are humming along while the Bulls would take some confidence out of their 5 goal win over The Cats. Be interesting to see how close this game is, Bulls used to be renown for their contested football so we'll find out if that's still the case this weekend. Mossy by 5 goals.

Blues Vs Falcons - This game won't be outstanding for skills but should be an absolute ripping contest. Blues copped a bit of a flogging on the weekend and The Falcons won't be happy losing to bottom team Dockers. I'm going the upset here and Blues at home by a goal.

Cats Vs Hawks - Super surprised The Cats lost to The Bulls on the weekend. They were pretty good against Valley and The Hawks losing to Lakes will raise some eyebrows as well. One week they're hot, the next they're not down at the Hawks nest. Hawks won't drop drop one against Kingsley and 3 goal win is my tip

Good luck all and enjoy the frothies

Turns out my apple weather app has made some drastic changes since I checked it on Saturday. Said rain all week and now it says sunshine. Same weather man on channel 9 must do the weather on the app. Change it hourly as they have no idea.

Cheers for the ladder update Viper, each week continues to get exciting as the top five positions are changing up. Let’s hope it comes right down to the last week before it sets just to keep us all on our toes! As for the weather... well I do know one thing and that it’s bloody cold at the moment, let’s just hope those hail stones stay away come Saturday. Kwinana fought hard but mossy once again found away to come back and win, Harbour with a much needed win over the depleted Piara, valley absolutely massive against the blues, Quinn’s found some form over a struggling Kingsley and just like I thought.. Gossy still hungover from the week before to go down to a fired up Lakes.

Common Viper it’s at least a good 20 to 25 minutes down the road for these guys. But not like most weeks I’m sure Kwinana and Harbour will enjoy that little bit extra sleep in. Kwinana looks to climb back to top 3 so I’m tipping them by 4 goals

Lakes and Valley is definitely GOTR, in a fight for second spot and a win for valley will help add that one game advantage. Lakes with a massive upset last week and full credit they deserved that win but now need to back it up once again. Lakes by 9 points.

Mossy should take care of the bulls you would think quite easily, but the bulls got their tails up and had a good taste for it last week so watch out Mossy this won’t be easy. Mossy by 5 goals

Willo and Piara are both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the five a loss for either will make the second half of the season a little harder. Piara by 2 points

Well a loss for Kingsley in this game and you can pretty much put a line through them and send them on down to c3 next season! Gossy as we know are a one week wonder and we never know who is going to turn up. Kingsley by 1 goal after the siren!

 Good luck everyone.

C2 just keeps on delivering!

The Dockers did what their name sakes couldn't do and carved out a nice 19 point win over the Knights! Who saw that coming and then Kingsley knocking off Gosnells????

Cockburn over Valley by 45
Mossy over Bulls by 77
Falcons over Blues by 14
Cats over Hawks by 15 (WTF)

At this stage you're going to need to beat Mossy in the GF to win it. They'll drop the odd game or 2 but they'll be there come the big dance. Any of the top 5 can be there too. They're all capable and shown on any given Saturday you just don't know who will win.

Seems like Mossy are the ones to beat at the moment! But we all know come grand final day anything is possible.Gossy I feel like they take two steps forward then ten steps back. Lakes for me are the big improvement this year as I would not of picked them to be sitting second at the halfway point. Any team in that 5 could win it on the day!
