Nearly halfway already! I think the top 5 is nearly settled. Right now the top 4 are winning while 5th spot Cockburn are leading the pack but need to beat a team above them to secure it. Still a long way to go and anything is possible. No break this year which sux but its the same for every team. Cold weather on its way which scares the masses from training so we'll see the strong clubs come in to their own over the next 4 weeks I think.

I heard maybe some time keeping issues between the Hawks and Mossy's so here is my take ..... Every team is meant to provide a time keeper but the away teams never do and whinge if they don't agree with something. As I've always said to someone who wants to whine ... if you don't provide one then bugger off with your complaint as it's invalid unless you follow the by-laws which states you must provide one. It is also up to the discretion of the umpire as to whether to stop play or not if they think the hold up with be lengthy. The umpire must also walk over and indicate using the letter T with their hands to stop time. Off my soap box now.

Knights Vs Mossy's - GOTR - Mosman are 1 and 1 against the top 4 teams copping their first loss by 10 points to Gosnells and now take on a Knights team that has been thereabouts all year and need this win to secure 2nd spot. A loss sends them to 4th so lots to play for. I'm tipping Mossy to get up by 10 points in their 3rd GOTR in a row.

Falcons Vs Dockers - The Falcons are desperate for a win to stay in touch with Cockburn. The Dockers show some spirit now and then and will definitely be up and about for this game. I'm tipping the falcons at home by 8 points

Valley Vs Blues - Valley had to do it tough last week running out of a bench against a worthy opponent in the Cats who served it up to them all day. In the end Valley won by a point and hopefully the injuries aren't too severe. The Blues knocked off The Dockers by a few goals and will need to bring their A game to beat Valley at home. I'm tipping Valley by 4 goals.

Bulls Vs Cats - The Bulls copped it a bit from the Knights on the weekend and I've just covered the cats game. This is worthy of GOTR just quietly and it's 50/50 as to who wins. Going on last week's performance I'm going Kingsley by 2 goals here and good luck at the Bull Ring.

Hawks Vs Lakes - Gossy are smoking hott at the moment and rightly so. They'll be strutting around like Derm the worm after knocking off the Mossy boys and now face another top 5 opponent in Cockburn who on their day will push any side. If the Hawks taken this one too lightly they're in for a loss. Lakes dished out a belting to the Falcons on the weekend and will be raring to go for a crack at a team like Gossy. I'm tipping Hawks by 4 goals here and the under cover area to be rocking 2 weeks running.

Good luck all and enjoy the frothies

Yeh agree with you there Viper, BUT... this funny old game we play can shake things up and put things on its head. Not all games are guaranteed and with a bit of wet weather on the way it’s certainly going to make things interesting.

Kwinana v mossy 1 v 2 GOTR for sure and with mossy coming off its first loss last week I’m sure they will step it up again this week. Kwinana have had a good run now winning a couple in a row and with a home ground advantage I’m sure they will give mossy a shake up! Kwinana by 2 pts

Piara needs to bounce back now hard and fast otherwise they will find themselves in no mans land.. not the best percentage either and need to keep lakes within arms reach. Piara by 4 goals

Valley face off at home against the blues, and after last weeks efforts the blues boys will be up and about so valley will not want to go into this to lightly. Valley by 17 points

Quinn’s and Kingsley basically fighting to stay out of relegation area now! Not too consistent Kingsley this season as they are up and down with there losses so we will see what side turns up to the bull ring Saturday. Quinn’s by 1 point

Well let’s hope Gossy ain’t to hungover after last weeks efforts another big one on home deck against the up and coming Cockburn. Can Gossy show that last week wasn’t a fluke or will Lakes expose the Hawks and run rampage. Hawks by 3 goals

 Good luck everyone
