Ok everyone let’s get some chit chat going on and start talking about all this footy. Round one is now upon us, so please feel free to add in your tips, comments or even a bit of friendly banter. I hope everyone had a great Easter break and like me ate too much chocolate.

Mossy v Secret HarbourI think the Mossy boys will get the job done, a lot of traveling for the Harbour guys this year. Mossy by 4 goals
Lakes v Quinn’s Lakes have lost a few, and Quinn’s to be right up there this year. Quinn’s by 7 goals
Piara v swan valleyApparently Piara have a few out with a wedding this week. Piara at home by 5 goals.
Willetton v Gossy Gossy have a few injuries I’m hearing including there captain. Willetton have come down and I’m looking will be looking to make a statement. The Blues by 8 goals
Kingsley v Kwinana, GOTR My pick for game of the round, I’m really looking forward to seeing how Kingsley handle themselves in this grade. Kwinana are no easy beats and will definitely give them a run for there money. Kingsley by 10 points.
Thanks everyone. Enjoy the weekend of footy.

about bloody time! The travel in C2 is going to be pretty shit this year. Spread everywhere!

Mossy will be hoping to go a little further this year. Get the job of seeing how the newcomers are going. Last year's runners up will be keen to start the year on a good note. Tipping Mossy at home by about 4-5 goals

C3 premiers Cockburn Lakes vs Quinns. Definitely not the match up you'd want first for Lakes. Taking on the hardened bulls is a tough task and just lucky it's not at the Bull Ring as your first visit to C2. Been a while since i've been to CL's ground but if I remember rightly its bloody huge which won't worry Quinns and I'm tipping them to get the job done by 4 goals.

We're traveling to the windy suburb of Piara. I don't think its every under a 45knot wind when we go there. We copped a hiding last year in this game but a very different team this time around so I'm tipping we start the year off on a good note by 3 goals.

Willetton Vs Gossy could get ugly. I think Gossy will be in the bottom half of the table this year so we'll get a chance to see where they are at. Willetton coming down from C1 will be keen to make an impact early so i'm tipping them by 7 goals.

Kingsley Vs Kwinana - definitely should be GOTR with Kwinana thereabouts for the last couple seasons and also looking to make the big dance this year. Kingsley won't want to stay in C2 and will be expecting a flag and back to C1. I'm tipping Kingsley to open their account by 5 goals.

Good luck all

Some real close games over the weekend and just the one blowout.

Mossy with a 6 point win over secrets, Piara by 5 points over Valley, Kingsley by 10 points over the Knights, Willetton given a touch up by 92 points from the Hawks but the real surprise for me was Cockburn by 31 over the Bulls. Did not expect that nor the Willetton one.

Some great games of football in C2 and as usual can't tell diddly squat after round 1 and here's hoping, like recent years, any of the top 8 can finish in the 5.

How about those results from the weekend, wow! What a great way to kick off the first week and I think it certainly opens things up.

Mossy opened their campaign with a one goal thriller. Lakes... entered the competition with a big statement win over the bulls. Piara with a come from behind victory over valley. Kingsley also had to fight from behind to have a win over Kwinana. The talk of the town is the massive win that Gossy had over willetton. Looks like Gossy Captain played so no injury concerns there. Not sure what’s happened at willow, a few out, a bad day or are they that far off the mark. Well done to Gossy with that win and I’m sure will take a lot of confidence into next week.

On a side note, Viper you did mention not being able to see clearances was a pain! But on the Play HQ app if you click on the game, scroll player list and select the player you would like to see, it shows the last club that the player had played for. Hope this helps.
