TOPIC:

Congrats to Brentwood and SNESA on their promotions to C1. Brentwood look to be in good shape but SNESA will need to do some recruiting I think if they want to compete in C1. The downside for BB is they folded their colts. By the rules that means they can't put them on the park next year and we all know you need colts to be prosperous. They need to work hard on that to sustain C1 or higher. SNESA are in the same boat here.

The games are all being played at Claremont oval.

LEAGUE
Brentwood Vs SNESA
It's 2 - 1 in favour of The Doggies who mauled the crap out of SNESA in the second semi. They have been the dominant team all year and SNESA are going to need to find a way to get Wellingham on the park if they are a chance to win. They do have  couple of big game players including Colbung and Masten but will it be enough for the even spread the doggies have across the whole park. I'm tipping this to be a bit one sided after the semi .... Dogs by 40.

RESERVES
Brentwood Vs Coolbinia
Brentwood with the double and it could be a big night at the Kennel. Coolbinia with the single team in finals have had the luxury of fielding their strongest side possible. They were pretty dominant in the second semi but let the Doggies back in and they ran away with the win in the last. Coolbinia will need to learn from that and ensure they don't take the foot off the throat at 1/4 time again. I think they can win it .... 2 goals.

COLTS
Mosman Park Vs University
Mosman have been near the top all year and will go in to this game full of confidence. Uni got spanked the first few rounds and then around 17 changes from one of their other teams and they have barely lost since. Uni have all 3 colts teams in a Grand Final and need to pick their teams to win which may see some changes between their teams for this game. I'm going to tip Mosman by 5 goals and my boy Tom to get shit faced all afternoon at the Mossie Club house!

We are set for one ripping grand final at Claremont oval. Both clubs have booked tickets to C1 that are well deserved. After a massive 18 rounds of true hard work it all comes downs to this. I’m sure nothing will be left in the tank come Saturday afternoon. Congratulations to all award winners on Monday night, Piara taking out the ressies and league.


Colts
Mossy v Uni
I haven’t seen much colts action this year unfortunately but from what I’m hearing, Mossy are going into this match as favourites, I’m sure they will draw a strong crowd as I think uni have multiple teams in other finals. Uni by 1 goal


Ressies
Coolbinia v Brentwood
Brentwood had the break last week while Coolbinia got the job done over Snesa. In the semi Brentwood got up by 2 goals and I think Coolbinia would of learned a lot that game, with Brentwood keeping a close eye last week if the can potentially shut down #3 and #10. Will be close but going with Coolbinia by 7 points


League
Brentwood v SNESA
Brentwood get the chance with unfinished business from last year. They have gelled really nicely with the addition of some quality players. Not sure if Wellingham will get up to play and maybe SNESA might have a few sore bodies after last week. With Brentwood keeping a close eye on things maybe they learnt a thing or two about tagging Masto as I thought the Piara guy did a great job to stop his impact. Brentwood for me have got that bit more polish and with that solid target up forward, they will bring home the win.
