Brentwood have booked themselves in to C1 with a mauling of SNESA and to add to the party their reserves are in as well! If they get the double the kennels will be going off in 2 weeks.

QUEENS PARK RESERVE

League
SNESA Vs Piara Waters 14.30
SNESA got spanked hard and will be hurting from that one. Piara dished one out to Mossies as well. 2 weeks ago SNESA had a pretty comfortable win over a Piara team that just didn't get going and they'll be out for a bit of revenge for sure. With Masto back in I'm going to tip SNESA but only by 8 points. They're going to need a big replacement up forward for Wellingham.

Reserves
Coolbinia Vs SNESA - 12.35pm
Coolbinia have taken the choccies twice this year against SNESA but after a shit streak of about 6 losses the SNESA boys have found some ripe form at the right time of the year. Cooly played in a tight one against the Bullies which would have been taxing while SNESA may lose 1 or 2 to league to cover some injuries. Its hard to go against Cooly given they should have a few league qualified players and beaten them twice. Cooly by 2 goals.

Colts
Quinns Vs University - 10.40
Colts games have been super close and how finals should be. After finishing on top you'd like to think you wouldn't go out in straight sets so I'm going to tip Quinns. When we played both teams I thought Quinns were the better of the 2.

After coming off second best last week Brentwood have booked there ticket to the grandy and move on up to C1, with an added bonus there ressies also follow which shows great depth at the club. With Masto at the eagles awards (not sure why Wellingham didn’t go) maybe they were a little under maned but get a last chance again this week.
Last week we seen Piara dispose of Mossy and put an end to there finals campaign. Hopefully Piara can take that red hot form to Snesa and possibly pinch a victory.

In the ressies, Piara went out in straight sets at the hands of Snesa and Coolbinia lost all momentum when Brentwood came home with the breeze.

We are set for a massive Prelim at Snesa, I hope they put a few tents out for the crowd and also put the scoreboard in a decent location! Not sure on the colts situation but I’ll flip a coin and say Uni by 10 points. In the ressies.... well I think Coolbinia probably just have that little bit of extra talent from there league boys so I’ll say Coolbinia by 4 points. As for the league, Wellingham is out?? Masto will provide that outside run and the other big body mids will go to work to do what they do best. Piara simply need to find some run and a way to score. The game will be a lot closer than last time and the wet conditions will make it interesting. SNESA to win with a kick after the siren by 3 points.

Good luck everyone

SNESA got up over Piara by 20 points although should have been a flogging going off scoring shots. No Sandi for Piara on the team sheet? That would have hurt them and unlucky not to be on their way to C1.

Cooly dispatched the SNESA 2's out and booked a game with Brentwood. Everyone sooking about stacking will be whining more now.

Uni with an easy win over the Quinn's boys sets them up to take on the mighty mosquito fleet

going to be some ripper games this weekend. Be nice if they follow the AFL finals! 4 sensational games.

Made my way down to Quinn’s Park to see the games once again. Missed the colts but I hear it was all one way traffic for the uni boys who will now face Mossy in the grandy.
The start of the ressies Snesa looked lost and unsettled, Coolbinia kicked the first few and never looked back. Snesa chipping away slowly got them selves into it but just couldn’t find the scoreboard. #3 for Coolbinia dominated the midfield once again and found plenty of it. Well done Coolbinia on making the grandy.

The wind sure was cold and I wish I’d taken another jacket, the rain held off but the ground still felt moist under foot. The wind seem to come across the ground and didn’t favour any end in particular.
The game started quite sluggish as both sides struggling to gain clean position. Masto copt a heavy tag (probably something his never been use too) and seem to get frustrated when free kicks didn’t go his way! I’m sure Brentwood (who were camping on the far side of the ground were taking notes)
No major score in the first qtr but Piara had a chance on the siren get one home but unfortunately the player moved off his line and was deemed a no score.
The second some goals started to come and Snesa very inaccurate in front of goal with plenty of chances to put the game away. Piara kicked truely and was in arms reach before a silly 50 meter penalty was awarded and Snesa kicked a goal before the break. The third was still a battle for both but Snesa still keeping an edge over Piara, Masto went forward a few times to try and get himself into the game but was having no luck. The last Snesa had done enough and was just a matter of holding on, they tried slowing the game down before Piara kicked a goal and gave themselves a sniff, but Snesa found #29 up forward who put the nail in the coffin to claim victory and head to the grandy.
