All,

Thoughts for this upcoming weekend?

C2
I think Snesa and MP will be very tight, tipping mossies by less than a kick. They're 1-1 against each other. If mossies bring their A game they can win by more, but theyre too patchy...

GOTR is BB v Snesa, I think SNESA will fire up finally and win in a close one.

LKC
Mosman Park should take care of Quinns, but it will be close.

Whose everyones tip for the premiership in C2 and LKC, could Piara or Mosman Park upset the apple carts?

C2 GF Qualifier
Brentwood v SNESA
I’ve had a look at the team sheets and SNESA knocked Brentwood off a few weeks ago on this ground without masto or Wellingham… they’ve got momentum but will no doubt be beaten up after a few hard games in a row, brentwood would’ve enjoyed the week off - Brentwood by 3 goals

C2 Elimination Final
Mosman Park v Piara
Piara are at home against an offensive Mosman who can turn it on however also leak goals.
I think Mosman will win this one! 4 goal winners.

C2R Grand Final Qualifier
Brentwood v Coolbinia
Coolbinia dropped plenty of 1s players in time and will knock Brentwood off here! I’m tipping Brentwood ressies to tumble in straight sets. Coolbinia by 6 goals

Piara v SNESA
SNESA ressies in some great form it seems, made light work of Quinn’s at the bullring… SNESA by 2 goals to send Piara out in straight sets.

On the back of the weekend and the last encounter I'm going to tip SNESA to make the big dance and C1 over Brentwood. This should be a ball terror!

Mossies have nothing to lose and form has been good but I'm going to tip Piara as it's on their home deck.

Brentwood should take care of Coolbinia

I'm going to tip SNESA in the reserves to be there next week with a blistering win over Quinns.

I didn't realise but colts did play on the weekend. Uni took care of Coolbinia by 6 points and put themselves in to a Prelim next weekend.

Quinns play Mossies at Karoonda and you'd like to think Quinns finishing on top and beating Mossies in round 15 they should get the job done. Colts is a bit like reserves with the good ones playing up but also managing their 4-5 games in colts to bolster them for finals. Quinns by 10 points for me but I bet these 2 play off again in 2 weeks.

I was lucky enough to get down and catch the Piara v SNESA game. I did see the last half of the ressies, I thought it was evenly matched although Coolbinia probably had a bit more polish with there handful of league players. Piara had plenty of the ball but blew there options going forward and always wanting to go sideways, Coolbinia a lot more direct with #3 controlling the stoppages and #10 had the ball on a sting going forward.

In the league the first qtr was a hard contested footy. Piara lost there captain in the first ten seconds to a clean fair hip and shoulder which looked liked it popped out. Piara kicked the first goal but SNESA kept driving and pushing. The second qtr was a lot different as both teams seemed to try and take the game under control and slow it down, again Snesa kept chipping away and made the most of there opportunities.
After halftime it was all one way, Snesa had all the momentum with Masto and Wellingham putting on a bit of a show. ( it looks like Wellingham is on his last legs tho, after every lead out of the goal square he takes a massive u-turn into the next suburb to get back )
The final qtr was pretty much Piara grinding it out to not let it be a blow out, Piara looked like they were out of legs and if it wasn’t for big Sandi pushing back into the backline things would of been a lot worse.

This week we see Brentwood take on Snesa at Brentwood. Last game there was a nail biting finish. I think if Snesa can bring that hard attacking style footy again they could possibly get over the line. I think Brentwood would of taken away a lot from the last match with Snesa and Barry would of done his homework.
Brentwood by 3 goals

Piara v Mossy, well from all reports Mossy very impressive last week. As for Piara they have a bit of prep work to do for this weekend. I’m expecting both to bring the same intensity in a hard hitting contest. Should be a full house at Piara pavilion and with the crowd behind the home side I’m tipping them to get up by 7 points

I see winning C2 reserves flags is more important than staying away from relegation. All those 1s players didnt help today down at yokine.

Brentwood gave SNESA a touch up with Wellingham doing a hammy and Masto not playing.
Piara gave Mossies a flogging which I didn't expect such a big margin. I said ball terror but was a fizzer!

Brentwood making it a double with a 15 point win in the 2's over Cooly
SNESA 2's dispatching Piara who are out in straight sets after finishing 2nd

Mosman booked their spot in the colts GF with an 8 point win over Quinns! This leaves Quinns to take on Uni in this week's prelim.
