TOPIC:

Well it's the half way point of the season and it looks like belmont, cottesloe, lakes and ellenbrook will fight it out for 4th and 5th position and only 2 of the 4 teams will be successfull. The top 3 look pretty set with piara undefeatsed and get the job done over brentwood and secret harbour 3rd. The brentwood/piara was a great game to watch it defenitly didnt feel like I was watching c grade. It was a great contest I'm looking forward to the next one, piara probably stiff to not win by more the goal umpire for brentwood was I think one of there players who made a few very questionable calls I don't think players should be able to goal umpire.

cottesloe vs piara - cottesloe have been inconsistant with there results but have shown they can take it up to the top teams and will have a big challenge against piara this week.I think piara will be to good in the end and getup by about 5 goals

cobras vs secret harbour
cobras were pretty competitive last week against and could be improving but I think the young secret harbour side will run over the top of them and get up by 4 goals.

ellenbrook vs lakes
This one is match of the round for me as it could decide who plays finals later in the year. They have both been travelling along at the same pace so I'm tipping a very close game but ellenbrook to get up home only just by 2 points.

brentwood vs nolla
nolla have improved alot since these 2 teams met last time so hopefully for there sake it won't be another blow out but brentwood are a very talented team and well drilled and will be keen to bounce back after there 1st loss. brentwood by about 100.

canning vs belmont
canning won this battle last time but only by a goal so belmont will be keen for revenge. canning have dropped off a fair bit in the last month and belmont have showed they can challenge the top sides when they want to so I think belmont will be to good by about 3 goals.

Yeh pretty much spot on there HMac, top three looks set with a couple of teams to fight it out for the other positions. Piara take out the first half of the season and now become the hunted, I’m sure many teams will be looking to knock them off. Great depth at Piara also with there twos also leading the way on top, with potentially from 2nd to 7th wide open.

cott have been ok and there abouts, play there ground well and I’m sure have adapted to windy conditions which I’m sure we will see on sat but Piara are all class at the moment.

Secret Harbour will pick up a win away from home by 7 goals 

ellenbrook v Lakes, MOTR 
talk about fighting for positions in the top 5... we have this heavy weight battle straight off the bat. Should be a good game and I’m expecting both teams to throw everything at this one.
eels at home, by 15 points 

brentwood got there first taste of a loss last week but know doubt come out the other end stronger. Nolla to remain competitive in the back end of the season.
doggies by 8 goals 

canning and belmont I believe is being played for the MND charity with an award for BOG and trophy, such a great cause and really great to see these two teams get behind it.
