2 rounds in and we’ve already seen some blowouts, with Yanchep and Osborne Park suffering triple figure defeats at home. Perhaps the biggest surprise was Stirling running out 8 goal winners over Rossmoyne on their own deck.
Armadale V Yanchep
Have Armadale ever started favourites in a C4 game over the past 5 years?
Their start to the year has had them in both games against stronger sides for large periods, while Yanchep have struggled.
With home ground advantage on their side, I’m tipping Armadale to pull through with their first C4 win in a very long time.
Armadale by 2 goals
Stirling V Roleystone MOTR
Both sides will be chuffed with their starts to the year, claiming good scalps early on. Both have also recruited quite well.
Stirling will be up and about and the fact that this ones at home makes them pretty hard to tip against.
Stirling by 2 goals
Osborne Park V Forrestdale
Forrestdale got back into the winners circle with a massive win on a 3 hour round trip out at Yanchep. With a few new faces into the team, I expect them to only get stronger as the year goes on.
I’m not sure what the story is with Osborne Park, their reserves had a good win while their league got absolutely pummelled by Noranda.
Not throwing any accusations, but it will definitely raise a few eyebrows if this repeats.
I don’t see this one being much of a contest, with Forrestdale being the far stronger of the 2 and expected to be there at seasons end.
I’ll go Forrestdale by 10 goals.
Rossmoyne V Bayswater
Was Saturday an anomaly for Rossmoyne or have they dropped off? I had them right up there this year, so this one came as a bit of a shock.
Probably too early to write them off and I expect that they’ll bring a much better performance this time around.
Bayswater with only the one game so far are another tricky one to make the call on.
Rossmoyne are the stronger of the 2 and I expect home ground advantage will only stack the odds in their favour.
Will tip Rossmoyne at home by 4 goals.
