TOPIC:

Nolla vs Brentwood - obviously first couple of rounds are feelers for most. Really unsure about nollamara with clearances pretty even in / out. Brentwood have recruited well from bull creek and will be happy with the additions. Brentwood to get up here. 

Belmont vs Canning - Not a lot has changed for either team drastically, Going off last years results I will go with Belmont to get up in a tight contest. 

Piara vs Cott - Both teams recruiting well and will want to both prove a point early. Last year Cottesloe struggled and Piara premiers, will be interesting if Drew Petrie plays for Cottesloe but I feel Piara will have the better team still. 

Secret vs cobras - Secret harbour back this year and highly touted to be up there this year, picked up well also. Cobras struggled last year not having consistent team appearances maybe due to COVID if all back could be dangerous this year. Secret play well at home and will prevail. 

Lakes vs Eels - Lakes have recruited a ex wafl player and few others still have a strong field so can only be better this year. Ellenbrook made it all the way only to fail the last hurdle. Will want revenge this year and picked up even more not sure if they have lost much tho. Eels still strong enough and will get up here.

round 1 is finally here!! I’m sure we are all looking forward to a full season of football.
c3 is getting more interesting week by week. Nice weather for a good start, so let’s get underway.

brentwood to get up over Nolla who unfortunately I here is another club struggling for numbers, not sure if Headland is still involved at the club but I think it’s going to be a long year for the Nolla boys. Like iv said in another post, Brentwood could be a dark horse in this c3 race.

belmont v canning 
should be a close game I think, Belmont have encouraged a few old faces to come back while canning have onboard a new coach with a lot of wafl experience that should help there young playing group.

Piara Waters v Cottesloe, MOTR
last years grandy winner in both grades shows that this club has great depth. No doubt they will be up and about early at home. I can’t see big Drew playing many games as he does a lot of work for the WCE, the big fella won’t move far out of the goal square anyways.
piara at home by 3 goals 

secret harbour back onboard this season after a solid hit out last year but couldn’t get the chocolates in the big dance will be fired up for a big season. They always attract good youth and have plenty of kids involved with Peel. Always hard to beat down there at the windy ground.
Harbour by 5 goals 

lakes v Ellenbrook
well ellenbrook will be coming into c3 as favourites and in my eyes the team to beat. They will be absolutely filthy after the grand final results. Lakes have had some good numbers on the track and picking up Some handy players also.
ellenbrook by 6 goals

finally round 1 is here, been a few years but its good to come back to C3 (even tho i only play thirds).

KTB is spot on about a long year for Nollamara from C2 who were thumped by Brentwood by 30 goals, who finished 8th last year in C3. Or have Brentwood recruited that good that they will be the team to beat.
