Roley vs Piara - Hard to go past this being the MOTR. Both coming off good wins and both wanting to get wins early to be there come finals. Last year matches came down to a last quarter thriller and I don’t see anything else happen with this one. Roley have home ground advantage and Piara has been in hot form, Going with the falcons to get up just 6 points kick after the siren.

Bayswater vs Forrestdale - Bayswater had there first hit out and was a tight contest against a quality outfit which will give them a chance here. Forrestdale continued there brilliant form with a convincing win over manning. I feel this will be tight but after half time Bayswater might drop off the legs against a young forrestdale side 6 goals

Manning vs North Beach - manning coming off a big lose will be hurting and want to reap revenge against a 5th team NB if manning go into this thinking they will have a win already might find themselves in trouble. NB haven’t seen them yet but the results aren’t that bad for 5/6 team. Manning 3 goals

Noranda vs OP - Noranda Losing there first will want to make a mend for last week and I heard they might be without a FullForward due a red card against Piara. OP having the bye will be well rested and raring to get the first win on the track very similar size ovals so no real advantage here will be a tight contest but I feel the battle in the midfield Noranda have the fire power to get over the line 4 goals

Roleystone vs Piara - roleystone showed last week they definitley can't be forgotten which also showed how well forrestdale played the week before. Piara showed they are very hard to score against only conceding 3 goals against Noranda.I'm tipping piara by 3 goals.

Bayswater vs Forrestdale - it was bayswaters 1st game on the weekend so would have been fresh but took it right up to Rossmoyne.They have improved but i think the form that Forrestdale have shown in the past 2 weeks they will be too good for baysie. Forrestdale by 8 goals

Manning vs North beach - I think this will be a really tight contest, forrestdale got hold of manning last week and may take a few weeks to gel because of their country players. North beach have had 2 tough opposition in the first 2 rounds so will see this as an opportunity. I'm going with manning by 2 goals

Noranda vs osborne park - osborne park will be fresh from a week off but Noranda at lightning park will be very hard to beat. Noranda to bounce back and win by 10 goals

Hard to pick bayswater after Forrestdale winning by plenty last game. Not sure you can get much from Bayswater as they only played 1 game.

Manning V North Beach MOTR
You'll laugh at being my MOTR but both sides will be very confident of getting the win. Manning by all accounts were good v Rossmoyne but then didn't put up a fight v Forrestdale.
North Beach will see this as thier best chance to get the win.
I'll go with Manning to get their new coach his first win for the club

Noranda V Osbourne Park

Not sure about Osbourne Park yet coming off the Bye and a game v Piara. Noranda would want to put last week behind them and hope they learn from it come later in the year

Roleystone v Piara Waters
Both have very similar size grounds that they play really well. Piara are in some great form at the moment and have a good mixture of tall and short players that can do some real damage. Rolly got on the board last week and will be looking to get a first win at home. I’d expect them to put up a decent fight but Piara to be too strong.

Bayswater have every chance here and will hope for a little rain to make it really scrappy, Forrestdale probably have the quickest legs and should run out winners.

Manning v north beach
On paper manning should get the win here but hey this is football and on Saturday anything can happen and if the beach boys turn up to play.. look out we will have a great game on our hands. Not too confident but I’m going Manning by 10 points

Noranda v Osborn Park
Noranda should bounce back after last week and will make easy work of ossy park. Especially with the injection of these 9 x3 point players.

Roley vs Piara - I went down to watch this game and turned out to being a cracker with Piara getting up in the end. There was a fair bit of emotion in the match with hits coming thick and fast. A Red card was given towards the end of the first quarter against Roley it was bound to happen with physicality made the match even more passionate. Piara looked the better team all day with late goals in a couple of the first quarters let Roley back in.

Bayswater vs forrestdale - by the looks not much defence was going on in this game but the legs ran the game out and scored double almost. Bayswater definitely have improved and forrestdale even more with the colts added will both be a force if teams kept together

Manning vs NB - manning get there first win and a big one but not to take it away from them they have to take it up against the stronger teams to get continuity and have a big test this week. NB probably had there worst game of the three which I thought was a real upset but being the thirds and the team changing each week might have a effect

Noranda Vs OP- Noranda got up as expected had trouble converting with the week off will be disappointed they want to keep the form going. OP disappointing again will need to fix it fast with a few new players they to gel quickly

Anyone get around to the other games

Had the privilege of watching Piara Roleystone ( Done my knee and live in roley)
Cracking game... paira jumped them early before the Roley crown pushed them and they hit the front at half time a physical first half was pushed over the white line when umber 3 from Roleystone cleaned up a paira player resulting in a red card ( deserved 3-4 weeks in my opinion)
And another player knocking out a Piara player which was missed by the umpire ( not sure how )
All in all physical contest Piara the better team

TLION ,i wasnt there due to work but heard lots of different stories where Roleystone were back to there old tricks ,in my humble opinion the coach needs to be held responsible as he was laughing and encouraging some of this NOT ON if your team is not disciplined they wont go far and will cause someone serious injury it wont be long and there will be charges laid and i think coaches should be charged as an accessory as well ,Its a short season we are lucky community footy is going ahead for us to enjoy without thugs ,umpires need to do more Red Cards even if some are yellow get the thugs out of the game before someone gets hurt seriously im sick of seeing dickheads hit people at any footy game suspend them for this season simple THOUGHTS!!!!!
