What a great Weekend of footy,
Watched 1 and half quarters of Piara and Noranda and was a good game of footy despite the score i did notixe Piara coach did not play so they are going to be stronger but will take nothing away from Noranda they fought it out right to the finish CONCLUSION PIARA will not get beaten this year
Forrestdale big winners and look a very dangerous young team its good to see ,Manning franked that Rossmoyne arent going that good which makes looklikereign comments riddiculous to say the least they nearly got beaten by bayswater at home so for me i think Rossmoyne may miss finals this year or finish 4th at best ,North Beach ,Roleystone, and Osborne Park are fair bit off as well i think so looking at results and only 1 quarter of footy here is my top 5 in order of finish i think
1: Piara
2: Forrestdale
3: Noranda
4: Rossmoyne or Roleystone

Great to see so much discussion around C4 this year.

My take on the weekends games and season 2020-

Piara are the real deal this year. To only give up 3 goals against a strong Noranda side, shows just how strong they are. With Michael Florio still to come back in, they are going to be very tricky to beat.

Noranda aren't quite the best, but are still a force to be reckoned with. I expect them to tune up with a big win against Osborne Park on the weekend.
How long until OP start stacking for another C4R flag?

Forrestdale have a bright future and are doing all the right things to ensure sustained success. Was able to watch the replay of the game and they simply destroyed Manning from the get-go.

Roleystone aren't toast yet. While the result against Forrestdale in Round 1 came as a bit of a surprise, the 'Boys from the bush' were able to come away from their 2 hour round trip with a 10+ goal win in North Beach.

Rossmoyne are only just getting by. While you can only beat who's in front of you, I expected Rossmoyne to smash both Manning and Bayswater in rounds 1 & 2. By all accounts, this one was in the balance until the last 10 minutes.

North Beach are going to struggle this year. Not surprising given they are a 5's team and credit to the club for nominating sides in a tricky grade.

Manning still have a lot of improving to do. I thought last week may of showed some promise, but this weekends result against the Falcons show there is a LONG way to go.

Bayswater may cause some headaches this year to unsuspecting teams. Only going off the weekends result, but they will be happy with the way they pushed one of the better sides all the way to the end away from home.

Don't underestimate North Beach, if they decide to make an impact and their 3rds side turns up before finals C4 will be in for a shock.

Viper I understand that the points system applies to a clubs senior side (A Grade or B Grade) but I wasn't aware it applied to their senior team (3rd's or 5th's) if they enter teams at lower levels like C2 or C4. That is a major change to last year then!

Hey mate,

My understanding and this hasn’t changed from last year is that any league team is points governed. Just because it’s their thirds doesn’t matter. If it wasn’t like that last year then I didn’t understand the rule properly.
