Interesting grade this year both Cockburn sides go up Osborne Park come down. From initial fixtures Yanchep go out and North Beach come in. Good luck this year to all teams

Manning v Rossmoyne
If we’re to go off last season Rossmoyne in a canter. Manning has a scratchie v Carlisle last week and from all reports they held their own under a new coach and a fairly new team together. Saying that can only go off last season at this stage
Rossy by 3 goals

Roleystone v Forrestdale
No idea at this early stage. Wondering if Forrestdale managed to keep any of their colts from last year they could be in for a good year. I’ll go for Roleystone at home

Noranda v North Beach

Not sure what we’ll get with North Beach I’m more than sure they’ll be competitive and may even make finals. In saying that Noranda fell away last season and I’m sure they’ll want to start off the year in good stead. I’ll tip them here as I think they’ll be around the mark come finals

Osborne Park v Piara Waters

This is IMO match of the round. Osborne Park coming down a grade surely wanting to push straight back up and Piara being what I think favourite for the comp. I’ll tip Piara here but would not be surprised if Osborne Park take the points

Bayswater have the bye

Good luck all teams seems we’ll get perfect footy weather.

Guesswho ,going to be a tight grade this year for sure mate but i will have a go

Manning vs Rossmoyne
Both have new coaches in 2020 and will be keen to put a positive start to there seasons , Rossmoyne apparently had scratchie last week and werent really special although i also heard Manning played very well against Carlisle ,it will be tight but going on others im tipping
Manning by 3 goals

Roleystone vs Forrestdale
Not heard anything about these teams so im also going on last year
Roleystone 4 goals

Noranda vs North Beach
Noranda have recruited well and look like they will be one of the teams to beat not sure on North Beach
Noranda 7 goals

Osborne Park vs Piara Waters
Osborne Park seem to have lost a few and not many coming in so on that im going Piara Waters who are clearly the team to beat in 2020
Piara Waters 6 goals

Good Luck and i hope all teams enjoy the footy

Manning v Rossy
The new manning coach has brought a handful of new players from his old club that could come in handy.
Manning at home by a goal

Rolly v Forrestdale
The Rolly boys playing finals last year and I’m sure looking to go one better this time. If Forrestdale have gotten rid of there colts Im hoping the younger players can match it with the bigger older blokes.
Rolly by 6 goals

Noranda v north beach
Big step up from beach here, I’m sure they will remain competitive in this comp. noranda will want to get a few wins on the board early this season, Gardy has returned back to the club which will help.
Noranda by 5 goals

Osborn Park v Piara Waters
Osborn Park come back into this grade and I’m sure will make an impact. Piara apparently the team to beat this year and I think will be to good away from home in there first game.
Piara by 3 goals

Good luck everyone

Should be an interesting 8 game season

Osborne park
Coming down a grade usually means a team will struggle again in the lower grade. Looks like they have picked a lot of new faces and always had strong reserves so should bounce back.

Piara
Lost a few to Armadale but have picked up a few country blokes so will be the red hot favourites.

Rossmoyne
Have a new coach from Dianella who has coached at a lot of clubs. Coached Dianella to a premier ship so he could give the Rhinos the edge. Should be big improvers.

Noranda
Lost a lot of players a few years ago but they have all come back. They made the finals in C 1 a few years back. Will be the team to beat if they have their players back

Roleystone
Always do well and will be in the mix this year. Have a massive home ground advantage and this will get them into the finals

Forrestdale
Heard there was some unrest at Forrestdale with colts players not wanting to push up the grades. They will struggle again

Bayswater
They looked a better side than were they finished last year. Have no depth as their reserves were terrible so they will be mid table again

Manning
Should bounce back with a new coach. Didn’t look that bad lad year but just couldn’t win games

North Beach
Will be interesting to see how their 3/4s go in this Grade. Thirds teams have been in this grade a few times over the last few years and always struggled and it should be no different this year.

Rossmoyne by 2 goals
Roleystone vs Forrestdale
Roley by 10 goals
Noranda vs North Beach
Noranda by 8 goals
Osborne Park vs Piara Waters
Piara by 8 goals

Manning V Rossmoyne
Manning were terrible last year, while Rossmoyne were one of the better teams. Both have new coaches and a number of clearances in, which could make this one interesting. Rossmoyne seem to have picked up close on 20 players from the Mortlock and Avon leagues, so it’ll be interesting to see how the go.
Rossmoyne by 2 goals

Roleystone v Forrestdale
Roley were a surprise packet last year and near on impossible to beat at home. Forrestdales colts pushing up will make this interesting, but I’m still going roley by 5 goals

Noranda v North Beach
3rds teams often struggle in this grade, but North Beach are a massive club with plenty of depth so
I think they will be more of a threat than people give them credit for. Will go Noranda, but only just.
Hawks by a goal

Osborne Park v Piara
2019 was a nightmare for Osborne Park and I’m sure they will be looking to bounce back. A few clearances out recently would be of some concern though.
Piara were great up until finals last year and should be the flag favourite. They have added a bit of quality to an already strong list, so I’ll tip them by 5 up at Robinson reserve

Noranda were lucky to be playing North Beach 5/6s yesterday in C4 coming away with a victory.
North Beach 3/4s had a convincing win in C5.

Noranda getting the job done over NB 5/6’s doesn’t come as any real surprise. Perhaps the margin was closer than you’d expect.

Forrestdale pulling off a good win over Roley on their own deck. Did a few colts finally end up playing up for them? Or were Roley ordinary?

Rossmoyne getting it done over Manning in a low scoring game. By all accounts Manning have improved a bit on last year.

And Piara demolishing Osborne Park to assert their status as flag favourites. While I’m sure Piara will be happy with the result, OP must be concerned to be going down by a margin like that on their home deck.
Could it be a long season ahead for the Sainters?

Can it please be explained why it’s North Beaches 5/6 side? Surely makes a mockery of them even playing in the grade when they’d probably rather their c4 & c5 teams switched? They’d even be better served playing e grade and leaving the comp an 8 team comp. anyway it is what it is now.
Who knows the weekend might say more about Noranda then North Beach so good luck to them
