Colin Beard passed away this week. Recruited from Armadale, he played 167 games with South Fremantle and 33 with Richmond, and was a member of their 1969 Premiership team. Colin coached South Fremantle for three seasons from 1974 to 76, and coached their colts team for two seasons in 1980 and 81. He also won South Fremantle's Fairest and Best award in 1966.
