I refuse to believe that there was not one kid at SF that deserved to be in the 18s squad. It is a terrible look when no one gets picked. The whole district gets deflated in my experience. This is just poor management by WAFC. They should have less power over these things rather than the more they are getting. The system was never ever broken, what are they fixing?

The Talent program is a joke STT. Nothing surprises me with the clowns running the show there.

A very unfunny joke unfortunately. It's all a bit of a worry. Both EP and SF have won Colts games but no rep in the squad, come on!! If sending a message of hope to clubs and their Colts squads and the districts that feed them is not an unwritten rule of selection, like it always was, it should be again. You cant have 2 clubs with no reps, not on.

SF and EP have provided quality youngsters over the history of WA under 18 footy, just not their year this year, can't have strong districts ever year, isn't junior footy more of a cyclic thing?......anyway STT, SF only colts win this year was v EF last Sat, who in turn were missing all 11 of their state squad members....

Just noticed SF have 6 reps and EP 3 reps in the 16s squad...so not all doom n gloom for those districts as some folk are suggesting

Agree again with you Freez, Just not the year for SF. IMO our best prospect in Jetta did his groin early pre season and has not even made it on the paddock.
I think the fact that there are no SF Colts players in consideration for state selection should make them more hungry to prove the experts wrong. I think come the end of the year our colts will be fine and you will see a few of our youngsters push to be in draft contention.
