pretty good game of footy we broke it open in the middle part and to the Cardies credit they stuck around until the end - Higgins was brilliant again but the whole side contributed when it mattered
Not having Strijky hurt the Cardies up forward.

Going back to today we may have uncovered a beauty in Munkara , needs a bit more work but geez he's got something this guy & if he can get a bit more of a tank for down south big smoke grounds and get Picky to get some pill to him look out
Brendan Verrier was bloody good again great to see him back firing , Schloithey got a heap of it & Florenca was good as was Draggo - sure there's lots to improve and it is very raw at times in games but there's something to work with

From what I saw on tv you have heaps to work with. You are totally sticking with SF style of play at Freo oval but the skills of this lot not what we are used to. Verriers for instance need to work on disposal. After a season or two if you can keep squad together and add one or two you'll be 1,2 again.

Glad to get those points went down confident we would but got to say the skill level was appalling in perfect conditions, scrappy at times beyond belief , our kicking on goals a shambles , missing the quality forwards of last few years. Something to work with but up against quality opposition I

Mate...I wouldn't be fearing my mob on our current form. I watched your game yesterday and in comparison to Subi v WCE don't think there's a lot between SF and Subi. We had a late start to preseason after playing in the GF last year and I'm told the boys had a very tough programme leading up to the first game which could be affecting our performance at the minute but we'll need to improve against the Tigers, Perth and your mob.
