.... the perfume of Linament , the early up & fetch the paper for a squiz at the teams & line-ups , the nervous wonderment of how we'll go , the get the gear in the car & call the match day attendees , the pre-match banter if they're the opposition on the day , the rush of being around the clubrooms and seeing all those bloody legends on the wall possibly even catching one of them in the flesh , the smell of burgers , the gulls on the ground , the roar when the team runs out & the rush that goes with them , the scoreboard in the outer , the kids kicking the pill with their guernseys & beanies , the trainers & volunteers in their usual yearly spots , the familiar faces each year .....

Bring it on .... I can't wait now !
