Talk of players leaving and mention of players leaving happens at all clubs from year to year...South are no different.
Collica has been hampered with hamstring injuries in the past few years and has not been able to cement a regular slot in the league team. He does struggle with inconsistency and imo his decision making and skills let him down at times. He could develop into a handy player if he can stay fit and overcome his injuries.Only very slightly built and does get pushed off the ball far too much at league level.
The other players mentioned have been around for a few years and probably had gone as far they thought they could go. Time for players such as Sokol if he stays (Subiaco have had a fair dig at him) Mc Phail(Another Subiaco have had a nibble at)Ah Sui , Panizza , Laurino , Martinez , Kelly , Warrell , Bennell etc to step up and take their games to another level. I am still hopeful that there will be some player additions announced soon particularly a ruckmen, a key forward and another good mid would be good.

Interesting Dwert you mention $ubi are sniffing around a couple of your young guns after pinching Fimmano last year and I have heard similar them sniffing around ours. This mob should not receive 1 dime from the WAFC for junior development as they will more than likely just spend it on recruiting everyone else's best players as they couldn't develop a photo let alone a young footballer!

It is becoming more to difficult deal with this issue BH particuarly when they offer the young guns substantial amounts of coin, that our clubs have got no hope of matching. Interesting to see that one of their promising youngsters in Adam Creeper under 18s rep 2014 is not returning for season 2016? Will Max Walters , Aaron Summers and co return?

I'd hardly call Fimmano a young gun or any of the others for that matter. I think Fimmano moved across of his own volition to try and get more of a crack at league level...obviously that didn't work. From what I know Subi aren't in the business of targetting reserves players...why would they?

young gun was merely a term used by BH so I used it in my answer to him BC.

The point is that the Lions have been sniffing around a couple of our young players. Concentrate on developing your own and not poaching other clubs developed talent.

So the likes of Ray Daniels, Joel Latham, Mitch McPhee, Brayden Fimmano et al were just anomalies where they?

players come and go all the time...of those legends of the game you've mentioned Latham saw some league action but the others are ressies at best.
