I have noticed that the SF board is pretty low traffic compared to most other clubs, very few responses to topics and at the lower end of topic posts.

the few south fans on here dont seem to really get into more lengthy discussions much on topics compared to other club sites, there have been some good sf topics which have surpisingly drawn no comments at all from sf posters. You have an extreme like the perth board where its ad nausem but we are a fair bit even off the average.

just wondering why that is, seems to be a fair bit of apathy, fatique or disinterest in the club in general, has the dockers success dominated local footy in our area or are there other reasons for the decline of interest in our club?

You have to take into account that most people jumped on the AFL wagon , got brainwashed & never returned to local WAFL footy mate (and that applies to the other WAFL clubs as well)

I dont profess to know the answer to your question Bazza but here are my thoughts,

We have not played finals footy for four years ... Thats a downer.SF supporters are no different to other WAFL supporters when your team is up and about we have all got a bit more energy about us.

don't know about that, Perth have an record number of posts and have not played a GF since Moses was around.

Yes but the Demons are finishing where they expected to finish and the Dogs well I tipped them to finish top and I don't support them ??? So how would their own supporters be feeling ??? Hence less action on here ???

dont quite see the logic there, extrapolate 30 shit seasons and you would expect no action at all.

every club have their 'down hill skiing' brigade Bazza, in all honesty though the 4 clubs which have the most posters here regardless of success or failure on Oz Footy are Perth, SD, WP and Subi.....the rest of us have a few regulars but not many.....

good to see Dwert join the SF boys for a chat especially since Doggie seems to of disappeared.....EF have plus1 and observer new to the forum which is healthy for conversation and debate......Peel have none, Cl have only Tiger of old, EP have Grump and LB....pretty low numbers TBH......

Perth are by far the biggest, I would not expect that extreme , as you say the numbers are not big for most, the Perth board have the same group that debate around in circles about how bad they are.

just make sure you don't say anything derogatory about swans on here...that would be akin to poster suicide...
