Understatement saying this game is crucial for both clubs, critical game.

Pulman has to come back into the side for balance. Before the bye we struggled up forward and need his contribution as tall marking option. Dissapointing to see Drago not come up I hope the knee injury is not too bad and he will return in a few weeks.
Good to see a number of the State 18s lads promoted to the reserves this week, best of luck Callum Ah Chee and Kade Stewart both very exciting players and will play league before the season is done.
Bulldogs by 20 points in a tough NAIDOC Round clash at the Showgrounds.

Damn - a bloody good fightback after being pasted in the first quarter but just couldn't quite get it done in the end , never ever gave in & kept banging away

Congrats to the Tigers you had to earn the 4 points

Close but no cigar! 6 games to go and Derby next week we have left ourselves a bit of work to do!

First quarter was disgusting, we looked as though we were still on the bye and did not give toss about the result?

The Tigers were much harder at the contest and dominated clearances in the 1st Quarter, giving their talks up forward plenty of chances and the 7 goal 1st quarter was where the game was lost.

IMO we need to play two ruck men , Branchi has to play the remainder of the year as a back up to Higgins.
Our lack of tall forwards are killing us? Sellars was MIA today and Strom is not up to playing that role as yet. At least if you play the two ruck men you can push one forward when resting? Yesterday at times we had only the one tall in our forward line and we looked as though we were reluctant to go quickly and long to that one tall.
Would like to see AhChee come in next week 22 positions and 2 goals in first reserves game he is quality. Branchi , Panizza , Pullman hopefully Dragovich if fit? Lot of work to do and we only have ourselves to blame for the position we are in. We have shown that when we play our best brand of footy we can mixt it with the best unfortunately we do not see it often enough.

Dwert,

CL are big starters and generally are level pegging for the remainder of game, they do it time and time again. I have seen it first hand v WP on many occasions, surely the opposition coaches must emphasise this ???

Leedy

If the coach emphasised the CL fast starts? our players certainly did not hear this message as they were like rabbits in the spotlight in the first quarter.
To TC's credit he did rip into the group at quarter and they responded, however the damage was well and truly done. Played catch up footy from thereon.
