Yeah we did mate. I had a look again last night. Pretty willing kind of game. Few tussles throughout the night and a very hard fought game from go to wo. Went down and had a look at the last quarter from the boundary fence - intense and really hard footy. Hopefuly that puts them in good stead for next week as that was the simple focus from Curley at 3/4 time. INTENT.

Kicked 12.5 from memory, EP 9.11 or something like that.

Ressies won by 10 goals too which is a good sign.

Saunders didn't play though, he was the league runner and did sprints during half time in the rain. Not sure of the reason there. No Parry or Borovac in either game or of course Dell'olio. Carter, Gillespie, Bairstow, Luff all played in the ressies. Ah Sui again looked good as did Davuz (sp) colt from last year.

The league was pretty even, 2 Hams's looked good and got plenty of it, Sellar strong down back, Kelly was clean with his skills and was good to see Dylan Ross back this week.

No injuries from what I could see so hopefully a pretty strong side can run out next Friday v WP and have a win.

Great stuff - hoping our increased depth & the further game time for the Pups of the squad like AhSiu , D'Vauz , Branchi , Loersch and even Wilson etc will give us what we've been looking at for the past few years

Cheers & here's to next Friday night , should be a beauty this one to start with

Great weekend of games from South again this week. Played well in the rain and a new look game plan seems to be workin! Also scary to think that Souths beat a top side with all these players out that didn't play on the weekend in either side - Borovac, Parry, Saunders, Mills, Mugumbwa, laurino, branchi, Leorsch, McPhail.. Looks like a good season ahead!
