Paul Litherland is a good get for you guys Southerner. Was with us at EP for 10+ years. Very good footy brain and loyal, also works very good with junior players. A shame we weren't able to keep him.

Yeah mate - very impressive skills & South jumped at the chance to nail him due to the youthful ages of most of the squad , think he will be mentoring Jason Ireland the new Colts coach a bit too

Mate I have to admit though that I find the continuing exodus of players , staff & good people from the Royals very disturbing as a WAFL diehard

Paul is very good with the younger players. He understands the demands on them at early age and works with them. Good pick up

Paul and Patty (EP Colts Coach) have semi-similar coaching styles, but both understand the game very well. Paul builds strong rapports with most players because of his experiences and history in and out of footy. He has been mentoring for over 20 years I believe. I still don't know why Paul decided to go, but I honestly wish him the very best because of the type of person he actually is. You guys will learn very quickly what you have gained there.

I only hope we are able to keep his brother who is also a very loyal and long term contributor to WAFL Football!

Re your second part, Southerner (and Souths people), I will be quick because this thread is not really the spot. There has been enough on this under the EP posts.

But, many at EP are continuing to be very concerned and worried. At first, the thought was maybe those who were leaving were simply spitting their dummies etc. But, my thoughts have changed. I really think it is just "The Management", have got blinkers on. They are so absorbed in how the alignment is ticking so many boxes for them, they have lost their way in regard to the peripheral. And I mean that in the most respectful way to those people who have left. These people and players are being either forgotten or simply pushed aside because they just don't (or can't) fit the equation.

Many of us are just praying, hoping that it ends soon and we can get back to repairing the damage that has been done. But after being at our AGM the other day, to be honest I think the light at the end of the tunnel is getting smaller, not bigger.

First up - Post wherever you like Tayls that isn't something you ever have to worry about in here it's all good on that

There are many folks from all 7 clubs who believe that Howson is in a form of psychosis where he actually believes he owns the East Perth Football Club and to a large extent is the East Perth Football Club

Only chance left is for the members to revolt call an extra-ordinary meeting of no confidence & get rid of it

Dont know this got to this thread but Taylor you are right. I have voiced this many times to EP management. Dean is polite but enough but they are just dont listen or care.

Interesting thoughts Taylor.

You don't see Bronte allowing the alignment to end when the WCE move to Lathlain?

Our worry is, that our heirachy have changed their minds & priorities and that they are clearing the way to take over.

Some of the decisions being made are worrying.
