So does that you mean you get full renewal of your annual membership without further payment?

I remember being asked to relinquish mine in the interest of the Club's future viability.

Grassroots you are correct - at one of the meetings there was a suggestion from the floor that if a lifetime member wanted to relinquish their lifetime membership they could. However, there was no compulsion to do so. I chose to keep mine and increase the amount I spent at Swans in a different way.

Astro I suspect it is actually a lifetime membership rather than a life member.

What's the difference? Both members for ever?

$300 is a total bargain,,,$1000 at this stage of proceedings is a different story, I would estimate that if the WAFL in its current forms lasts another 10 years it will be a miracle...given that normal membership is now $80 a year thats not such great value.

To be honest after 30 odd years for the first time ever im considering not even renewing my annual memberbership, simply don't have the same passion.

The $1,000 Sharks deal included gate entry as well as membership. To the best of my knowledge I can't recall it being capped at 10 years though. It better not be as I know three gentlemen who won't be happy!

ST you are right! I've checked and the EFFC $1000 deal is not capped at 10 Years but is a membership for life! My apologies for the bum steer!

Yes, i got the $1000 life membership this year at the sharks, and it includes ground entry to home games, and as far as i am aware there is no specific time that it expires. I was told that this is a membership for life. Hence why i did it, as well as helping the club.

And if i'm not mistaken East Freo have been offering this option for quite some time now, as i've always wanted to do it, but just couldn't afford it.
