He played a great game in the 92 GF.

Still have on an old VHS tape the Drawn 1st Semi WP V EF from way back and remember Billy been a danger down forward kicking goals whenever West looked like a chance to snatch victory. He ended up with 4 on the day. RIP Billy

Very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Billy Krakouer. Billy joined the sharks mid way through the 1989 season and was a great addition to a team which contained many great players. I remember him playing generally in the midfield where he showed great skills, balance and poise. He was a very unselfish player and would bring others into play with his handpassing and accurate kicking. If he found space in the forward line he was dangerous as was seen in the 1989 first semi final against West Perth that was mentioned in the previous post by kirbs.

I think he was one of our best players during his time at east fremantle and he went on to become a premiership player in 1992. He was a great contributer in that win and during the seasons he played for the club.

RIP Billy

Great little player and always had that smile.
