Reckon South probably wanted the announcement now so they can at least be in the hunt with the same applicants as Perth are targetting,wait till the end of the season and you may miss out on the bloke you want.
Doesnt make the job any easier in Perth getting "there man" whoever that may be.

the person we want is keen but will only commit for 1 season...not sure that is the best option for the club in the long term, no matter who great it would be to have him on board...???
