After watching the segment on Michelle Cowans rise to assistant coach at South Fremantle Hasleby was asked whether he was worried if she would take his job and his response was "She can have it...". Not sure whether its abit of tongue in cheek or if he is worried but I personally would love to see the club give her a chance in the hot seat. Honestly what else could possibly happen....

The word on the vine is Woosha is being vigorously pursued for the role, even if its only for a year & that would be fine by me. In a recent interview Woosh only ruled out AFL coaching next year…

Reckon we wouldn’t promote Cowan unless all available options for 2015 are exhausted…either way Hazelnut is done…

I wonder if fella's like Hart, Jako, Roo and Matera/Worsfold jnrs will all come out of retirement and don the boots when Woosha takes over the reins?

With all due respect to the lass it wont happen, footballers wouldn't respect her because she is female. By watching the story last night all she said at training was "well done & good work"! anyone can say that!

Lot of male coaches without respect over the years at many levels, and in different sports. If she is able to do it, then she should do it. I'm sure she can coach, or she wouldn't be there.
