congrats on the win Southerner.....pity Miller has only played 148 games for SF....would of loved him to play next weekend v EF for his 150th.....would of been awesome....do you think he will get a game considering SF win today?....some pretty big stats from your midfielders today......

Well done to SF today.. Were hard at it and played in front. Created a loose man that had Bill confused Cook played as a loose man and it paid off.. Pretty obvious but not seen by coaching staff apparently. Besides that great game to SF who had the front foot all day. WP were like chooks with their heads missing.
Free kick count well in SF favour but not reason we lost.. SF played in front and got the lollies.

Bad decision of the week..putting KRAKOUER, Andrew in the side. His stats were nothing remarkable.. Having watched him in the Ressies over the last few weeks was not ready this week.. Maybe next week v Swans but even then? A couple of the Ressies should of been elevated or Batters NOT DROPPED!!! Is someone at WP trying to justify a decision?

7 goals by Ben Saunders was a highlight.. They fed him well..

It\s not often that I bag the WAFL but that was truly an awful game to watch. Handball after handball, most of them ineffective. Sideways kicks or kicks to the boundary - or to be honest, over the boundary. Hardly a contested mark to be seen.

I'm afraid to say that the WAFL has totally succumbed to the same style of play employed in the AFL.

Spot on Ben it did nothing to inspire me as it was so fragmented and as you say scrappy.. Thats comming from the loser though. SF seemed to have a good match plan in place and I went to the SF huddle at 3qtr time and it was almost as if Haze had been listening to Paul Sanzone WPFC reserves coach.
He basically said WP had the breeze.. It was a 22 point lead they had and not insurmountable.. The players must not rush the play due to the time factor and play to use time.. On top of that keep up the pressure and get some scores on the board to keep the lead the way it was.. They did that and it worked perfectly as it did in our ressies win..

God it was We would kick a goal and then SF would kick a goal and so on and so on making the status quo equal..

It worked and good coaching. and good play by the SF in following the coaches instruction..

Like I said Bill told our guys to play man on man (appears he did notice SF had a lot of loose players) But it didnt happen and SF still had a LOT of loose players.

I wouldn't whinge about the free kick count mate as last week it was 18-8 in favour of West Perth, so the anomaly is why are these kick counts so lop sided? overall the umpiring today was terrible though. I found it an absorbing game, and not awful. Saunders always looked like he was going to have a big day and South wanted it more right from the first bounce, WP looked disorganised all day and that doesn't make any sense either as it was pretty much full strength. Krakouer looks 3 or 4 games short of a gallop and I wouldn't play him in the seniors this week . Well done to South who squandered many chances last week and really should have put us away early like you did to WP today

Over-umpired as always.

One thing different between this week and last week for WP. South were able to totally blanket Adams, Fowler, Tsalikis. And like you say, Krakouer wasn't able to have any impact.

Doesn't help when the players are stuffing around with the pill continuously but that's modern day football and old timers like me keep getting told to keep up with the times.

The two other standouts were Higgins (SF) & Manning (WP) .... although looking at a replay Manning is/could be in deep shit for that shirtfront on Cook , he didn't look at the ball and it was intent for sure ... 2 weeks I reckon minimum
