Was down at Freo Oval yesterday getting a SF hat and bouncedown magazine eventually and noticed a few renos taking place. Seems that out the front of the main gates to the carpark (near the comm box) they are going to have a huge electronic screen. It was mentioned before the year that one was to be installed but I didn't see anything until yesterday. Going to be facing the road which will get plenty of notice. Hopefully its a good one that can advertise club sponsors / events and upcoming games etc. No doubt the dockers will use it too. Only had the scaffolding up and the frame but if Im right it will be a big one.

Also they have torn down the shelter behind the goals at the jail end!! Looks so bare now. Roof and backing part all gone. I imagine they are redoing it. Hope so. Was one of not many places that you could get out of the rain.

Now hopefully they can reno the side.
