Yeah, actually on second thoughts, 1200 or so would have been tops, your right about the EP fans , there really weren't many there at all, have to be honest the atmosphere in the members was pretty mournful after a crap 2013 hopes were high for a decent showing in 2014 , to be honest they look a bit worst than last year, on top of that the host club deal has ripped the heart out of the comp, most members were pretty downbeat about the whole thing and a few quite openly said they won't bother coming to too many more games this year, I'd expect a mass drop in membership at seasons end, this is panning out just as I predicted , if not somewhat worst,

On top of that the club is being run by half wits, losing money hand over fist, rolling over on the host club deal. The bar is being run down no manager in place, tab has closed down , what a shambles.

I even went back today to try and see a winner. Thank Christ we have colts playing for SF. The ressies looked ordinary as well. If that is how we are travelling throughout the main squad then we are in a world of pain. Lost by 10 goals.

14 people sitting in the outer, not hard to count when it's 14 and 3 of them were EP / WCE staff in Phil Knarkle, Selwood and Jaimie Graham (not good in an EP shirt either!!!)

It was funny though, as I walked around the ground behind the other 10 people who were sitting along the top concrete level in the outer they all . . . and I men all looked over their right shoulder to see who it / I was and quickly covered their notes they were taking and then they all looked over their left shoulder to make sure I had gone. Recruiters!!!! I reckon I know more than them anyway . . . and have had a few ask where is so and so and what does Joe Bloggs normally play like =)

Anyway - a shit weekend - well done to the colts on another win. Went to see AhSui and Pickett play but both were a no show.

The team is just not anywhere near as good as what the club publicity machine pumped out in a desperate attempted to hold membership numbers and sponsors in the off season , the financial restrictions on recruiting are looking obvious now,

We lost to Subi, we OK , despite a team we had the wood on last year, they look miles better than us,

We gave up a massive lead at home v Perth a team that most pundits had as being pretty ordinary this year, even against a good side losing from that position is absoulte shit,,

The. We get pumped by the eagles ressies at home , expected I guess. Apart from the fact that the team Everyone expected to be wooden spooners , swans just week before put up a very credible fight. Unlike us who were never in the race, and now that same swans out fit have knocked off the dorks reserves , remember this is the struggling swans outfit and we were supposed to be the big improves....?...

What a crock, mate, if they can knock of peel , and take it up to swans , unless there is some sort of miracle, on 4th street ,,,we are cooked,

We simply do not have the game plan or structure to control a game at the minute - the cattle seem ok (with at least one exception)

You cannot concede 100+ points in 15 of the past 23 games (losing every one those btw) and hope to be up top

SF will be fine, they will win against SD, more than likely the derby and probably a few more games after that.....no you won't win the GF, yes Hase will probably get the chop but SF will be there and there abouts like 6 other teams come the end of the year....for me EP are the team to beat, Subi are playing well, all the rest will be hammering down 3rd - 8th spot......Peel, whilst Freo are stuffed with injuries, will be lucky to win a game...

In all honesty a year of coaching apprenticeship under JD a few years back might have been the best path for Paul

I think the club just needs to go back to the basics and get the kicking right , the decision making straight forward & stop the pissing around with the ball
