So this brings me to Milsy ..... 153 games for Old Easts and 145 games currently for the Bulldogs
What I saw early on in his career , this stalwart WAFL champion , was a desire to get the very best out of himself , run himself into the ground each & every week to contribute to his side ... consistently ending up in the best 3 players for his side while wearing a minder like a cheap smelly suit
I was bloody surprised in 2006 when that no insipid no-hoper Vicco coach of Old Easts , Dunbar , insulted Milsy by telling him (& Timmy Malseed) that he wasn't guaranteed of a game any longer , at the very height of his powers and being one of the few shining lights of that time at Moss Street
Bloody delighted to pick him up even though at that same time , it cost us Theo "the raging bull" Adams ... and what a bloody champion he has continued to be for us , embraced everything and anything at Souths , worked his arse off - rewarded with that elusive flag at last in 2009 ( I was rapt for him in particular I must say!)
Onya Milsy - you are a legend of the game - and I will eagerly await my toasting beer at your 300th in round 2 of 2014 !!!!
Sincerely thank you for your time at Souths and Old Easts deserve great credit for producing such a marvel as one Kris Miller !!!!
3 cheers
