2024 FINANCIAL RESULT

In 2024, South Fremantle Football Club achieved a better-than-expected financial outcome, realising a full year cash profit of $180,828 with a net profit of $167,464 - the best result since 2021, a Grand Final year.


Chief Executive Officer Cameron Britt is pleased to announce to Club members, fans and commercial partners that it was a year that would reveal several firsts.


“It was the first season in which we’ve pushed through $3.5M turnover (total $3.7M), assisted by strong revenue growth from sponsorship arrangements, investment returns and record match-day gate income”.


“We would also record bar & function sales of nearly $1M for the first time, which is testament to our exceptional relationship with food and beverage partner, Benny’s Bar & Café” Britt explained. 


Some additional revenue opportunities were not achieved due to both WAFL and WAFLW programs missing finals, which only reinforces the performance of our core operating activities in delivering this robust financial result.


Profit results continue to support the Board’s strategic intent to strengthen the balance sheet in support of future activities.


The 2024 AGM is scheduled for this Monday December 2 (6pm), in the Hughes Bar.

does AFLW dockers match days contribute to your revenue/profits?

the VFL lives a separate existence to anything else on this earth - the VFL does not recognise anything or anyone outside of it's self created tiny weeny microscopic introverted little bubble and does not pay other state competitions a cent unless of course it is a means to an end for examples New South Wales , Tasmania & Queensland
it is difficult to generate food & drink business due to their inbred sponsorship arrangements with various food & drink companies additionally

Great result, a bit astounded by the $1Mill turn over in bar takings. Then again they did have an additional derby there and the prices at the bar were a shocker.

im sure hosting AFLW games contributes significantly to

no it cannot & doesn't due to the exclusive sponsorship deals the VFL has locked up

we use Benny's catering simply due to the legal minefield involved with trying to make a dollar

for example - we cannot sell a well known brand of hamburger , a well known sports drink , or advertise certain sports brands and services and that list is quite large

and if we did have the ability to generate coin from the VFL affair - then you would see more than half a million clear profits and some every single year
