Ancient battle for the Cup di Calabrese
just unfortunate we won’t be anywhere near full-strength in order to be able to cause any sort of boilover

Is interesting to note the previous matches between these 2 clubs at Fremantle Oval going back to 2015. Apparently there has been one drawn match, West Perth winning 3 and Souths won 8 or 9 of the encounters. Is going to be another good encounter this match. West Perth fell away in the last quarter of last week and perhaps should have won by more. Whilst South Fremantle were run over by Swans in the last term last week. Currently South Fremantle (when playing at Home) are averaging 16.3 Disposals/ scoring shot apparently. From what others say, Up to this point in time, West Perth averaging 15 Disposals per scoring shots when playing away, so people say. With the rain that's fallen during the week (and more rain is possible on game day) the ground might be a bit slippery and possibly the weather might have a say in proceedings?

three more younger guys getting a look see at league - this is all about who will be asked to return next season so getting a good look at some is vital
Caleb Stephens has already attracted several VFL clubs and will be lost

generally more effort than last week
but let down badly by some of the more senior players again
glimpses of something with a couple more of the youngsters Ferreira and Graham

All the young ones are 2-3 propositions. Who knows if they are going to be good quality WAFL players? Stephens yes he shows something , but mate there are many players like him running around in the leagues across Australia not sure he's that certain to be picked by the VFL.
Why has it now taken too round 17 and 18 to coach development our year was shot at the start?. Wasted year by the Admin and Football Department absolute shamozzle at our club atm

haven't seen absolutely everything in the sink yet but I can say so far that not many are ready or up to it
some have already had good time in the system and been poor - reserves coach been shown up a bit there 
skill levels have plummeted it's absolute shit 
there will have to be some recruiting done , there's just too much youth and it's putting too much pressure everywhere

I told them you better start recruiting big or else we will remain with the cellar dwellers.
No club loses the quality of players like we do and nothing comes back in.
We are the only club not to have a team in the finals this season in all three grades.
 

Did we have any state 18s reps this year? Top end talent pipeline seems to have dried up completely...
The Broadbent experiment at the start of the year probably gives you an indication of where we are at with our talent programs atm.
