one of the more ugly games of footy but we've hung on to grab the 4 points but it's come at a price with injuries - it was never going to be a blowout given the condition of the ground and the weather and I thought East Perth threw a lot at us at times during the game
Valuable win this one taking everything into account

one of the more ugly games of footy but we've hung on to grab the 4 points but it's come at a price with injuries - it was never going to be a blowout given the condition of the ground and the weather and I thought East Perth threw a lot at us at times during the game
Valuable win this one taking everything into account
South were too efficient.Another game when we we had more inside fifties and could not hit targets.South on track to make the five and East Perth have gone backwards..

South were too efficient.Another game when we we had more inside fifties and could not hit targets.South on track to make the five and East Perth have gone backwards..
 
Watched the final quarter of this match and Souths defence was the difference from what I saw. Currently South Fremantle have the best defence in the league running at 0.78 which is 22 points below the average. The next best is West Perth on 0.84.
East Perth had plenty of the ball in the last qtr, but their forward thrusts were hitting a brick wall as Souths back half continually stood tall and repelled. East Perth's forward pressure in the league is slightly above the average, the problem of today being unable to find the targets when in the forward line. Was an entertaining last quarter to watch and the time was on South Fremantle's side at the end. Have had some good games of footy this weekend.

that howling gale of a wind did not help either sides' skills 
Leederville Oval in areas does need urgent attention and it looks in trouble really
the centre bounce patch looked as though it was resurfaced recently and that is a good thing
