terrible first half from the boys today and it looks as though we'll get beaten today - full credit to EF and the way they're playing though

probably more relieved than happy mate - EF deserve a lot of credit for the way they played however and in the end we just hung on after missing a few late and kicking points
Big crowd which was fantastic for the comp and I do think EF will be playing finals this year based on what I saw which again is good for the comp

First of all EF revival has been great for crowds , it was noticeable the increase in EF supporters at the game.
About 6500 there.
South looked gone at half time, an amazing reboot got
In infront, looked in control until a late EF charge that we held held out for the win. EF had a chance to grab it but blew it.
A great Derby win big turn around on the rubbish at Basso. A badly needed win that keeps us in touch of the finals.

Congrats and kudos to SF for coming out after half time and putting their best foot forward, getting their noses in front and keeping it their to secure the win. Great to see a Derby crowd and more importantly a Derby contest again.....great for the comp.

On paper that SF side is potent with talented talls....good to see McCarthy play as well, the comp needs all the talent it can get....will definitely bring back the crowds when on song.

I know you and I  aren't  forum besties Southerner, but like 58 I was a tad surprised you posted mid game that white flag talk, perhaps it was a bit of reverse psychology to gee the team up....seem to work as well.

Great for the WAFL to have 6000 turn up for the game and a close contest. It looked fantastic on the TV. Well done to both teams

Definitely no gee up on my part - I was obliged to pay respect to what was a terrific second quarter from East Fremantle 
I though we wasted a great start
we had a much better second half and responded to that kick in the bum

yep, a good crowd-- we would have had ten thousand without the tele; even so, the whole state saw the game which was a good thing. Indeed, it is nice to see the blue and whites in form.
