A very good game of footy - The boys worked pretty hard and made Claremont earn their points but two patches in the second and last quarters from the Tigers was enough for them to win 
Claremont will be one of the huge threats this year for the flag but I was happy we made them fight for it and that it was another close one 
Pity we couldn't go right to the end but that's what it is I guess

Not all is lost Southy.  Before the game I knew we were up against it with so many players out with Covid.  One goal in the Resies just proves that our depth was tested.  There's upside to come in weeks 
to come with players like McQuilkin, Blechy, Dono, Dado, Green & Soggy to come in.

yeah we just didn't have the balance with some of them out mate and I'll be looking forward to getting those guys back into the fold
