Back to the game, I like watching Parker play, he is really the X factor in a team of mostly a grade players. He is also pretty fair abt it being tagged he played it hard but was first to pull an oppo player up after the contest.
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

Bloody fine young family man and it's been the same since the very day he first walked in the door from WA lower league footy Grumps
And to be honest given his work ethics in simply playing the game after being just given an opportunity we were absolutely stunned to be gifted his early actually far earlier return back to WAFL footy mate
He's one of those lads it is very easy to enjoy watching play and can be bloody damaging very quickly as well as a damned good kick

East Perth are like any club, the supporter base is shrinking year-on year. I’m sure if we came into the match 4-0 and the game wasn’t televised the turn out would have been far stronger. We had our chances today but we lack the class to take them. South looked to being going half pace.

The age of the EPFC supporter base really stood out, it was pretty bad walking into the ground at 2pm with 10 mins to go and seeing the fence pretty much empty, SFFC members stand was sparse, I think back to back home games takes a bit of a toll a lot would of gone last week I guess and skipped this week.

Apparently Bazza it was the best attended match of the weekend. So taking everything into account Covid mask mandate, game on TV and one sided contest likely. It was a roaring success. How many people under 40 do you see actively following a WAFL team anymore.  It’s sad but the AFL is all encompassing 24/7 and sucks the life out of our beloved WAFL. It’s a shame because some great footy was on offer on Saturday.

All of this Covid hysteria over the last 15 months has sadly been a boon for the couch potato industry.
It is not only the WAFL suffering crowd wise even the all encompassing afl is well down on crowd sizes and most other sports the same.
All of the ongoing confusion over crowd % allowed, mask wearing etc hasnt helped and it is just far easier for the lazy couch potatoes to sit at home in comfort and watch on TV or live stream or listen on the radio.
Good luck getting sports crowd numbers back for some years if ever to the pre Covid levels.

I think you do have a point there, as I have also observed that in a another community group I am in quite a few have never returned since last years lock down.

I reckon once people get out of the habit of going to something and they realise well maybe it wasnt so important to me after all I dont really miss it and find some other thing to do the effort to get there just fades. Esp with older folk and thats the WAFL demographic.

Another thing is WAFL have far more reach with live media via live streams now than before,

Answer to your question - none, in my group that goes - I am the youngest, and I am well over 50.
