It would have been good to see how we fared against Souths to gauge how much we have improved.

mate I hope we get the Basso fixture back somehow - it's a part of the fabric every season those picket fences & the hills in the background as you well can understand for us Port boys

I have great memories of Souths - Swans games notwithstanding the 1980 GF loss.  The S Michael Freo to Success Hill train trip game is one of them.  Also, who could forget the game at Freo Oval when Mal Brown sent Souths out to train at halftime?

yep we can say we've seen some superb contests at all three grounds over our years mate - some unbelievably good highlights and so many very good players & coaches as well
Looking like we may be getting pencilled in for one of the split rounds later in the season now so the good news is that the round isn't lost entirely 

This is not over yet by a long shot. We could lose more rounds. They won't catch up then. The season becomes shorter.

I agree Roman, I doubt whether next Saturdays round will be played either, unless there are no more community spread cases which is doubtful given the number of people who have been in places where the COVID could have been. St Catherines College is the most worrying one to me because the students there come from all over the place.

We have the state game weekend plus 2 split rounds where we can make up the fixtures. If we fixture on the state game weekend it will impact the top teams who you would expect to have most players in the state team, could be an interesting round.
The WAFC may put a cap on the number of players from each club if that weekend goes ahead.
