Great early season clash here and another finalist versus finalist from 2020

Geez what a hard nosed affair this one was - we had some chances to get some distance from Claremont in the first half but just didn't kick straight , and against good sides that can be fatal and that proved to be the case today
Claremont were very good and will be a main contender if they can keep all the cattle on the paddock and they kicked accurately
Congrats go to them today for sure and they got one back from the Grand Final last year on us

Bad kicking is bad football Southy.  Turn 6.11 into 11.6 at half time different story.  Premierships
are'nt won in April.

Great day today , good crowd and atmosphere

Shocking kicking on goal , just one of those days on the other hand Claremont made the most of chances.

We will meet again long way to go

10 to half time I thought being absolutely fair mate and you just cannot give a top side like Claremont for example a second chance to get back up the other end and score after missing them
But as Bazz says we have a long season ahead and some handy stuff to take away from this one
