To be honest I cant remember really seeing much of the "firing" bit mate.

McCarthy is already back at SF and training. IMO he still has a lot to offer in the WAFL. 

Some talk he is a chance to return,

who knows, touch and go I would say.

Baz what happened to Shane Kersten? Was suffering from plantar fasciitis in his last year at Fremantle.

Not too sure the young bloke will be back on-field for a while - training stuff will assist his health big time though

Just heard that Freo are reluctant to send their players to the country to play for Peel this weekend. If that's the case, Peel would not have enough players to field a team.

They could draft in a couple of handy players from Pinjarra on a short term loan. Bennell and Balla’s.

unlike last year's fiasco this year they do have a reserves unit available mate - have to wait and see what transpires on Thursday night I guess
 

As soon as I saw the fixture was being played in the country that was the first thing I thought. These precious angels can’t be playing on anything but absolute pristine conditions. Why did the commission pick the Peel game to be Souths country match. They could and should have picked any of the main WAFL clubs, not the sooks from Fremantle / Mandurah. Although it’s a bit unfair to blame Peel as it their puppet Master who decides. What a joke.
