Gee I could have swore I was watching Noel Carter and not Cicco as both played remarkably similar, both rovers, both wore no.1, both loved a goal, only difference was Charlie had the familiar moustache.

Slippery's best work was done after he retired from playing...nobody did a brown paper bag better than Cicco and coming from a Subi supporter that's saying something.

Cicco was there Saturday in good form and he is right about the WAFL for being a good social outlet and meet friends for life.

Just to set the record straighter for WANFL football followers - Brian Ciccotosto was in fact the one who first came out with the "Brown Paper Bag" idiom funnily enough.

It was around one former league footballer who played for two clubs from the mid-1980's onward and cost far , far , far more than just the money as it eventually panned out

Every single WANFL club used this terminology and method to get VFL , SANFL & other state league players to their respective lists and that is one undeniable fact that can never be disputed or denied
