One can only imagine the anguish of the parents and relatives. Just reported on the ABC that the 8th boy rescued today will be the last for today.

This leaves 4 more boys and the coach left for hopefully tomorrow.

It has been an outstanding effort so far and hopefully tomorrow will see a very successful resolution.

Apparently the rescue operation has been stopped for today. Air cylinders are only suitable for a certain time frame and would need replenishing as they don't last forever. Ropes would need checking etc. Going to be interesting the tactics of the rescue team tomorrow?
Bring the remaining 5 out together? Maybe 3 / 2?
Cannot see bringing 9, 10, 11 and 12 out and then leave the 13th in the cavern on his own overnight? I wouldn't have thought?

One would think that they would want to bring them all out tomorrow. The complication is that the coach apparently gave my most of his food to the boys so he is probably going to be in reasonably poor condition that will make it more difficult a rescue.

If they aren't able to bring him out tomorrow I would think they there would be a volunteer that would stay with him overnight.

I think that they would try and complete the operation tomorrow. This has been an outstanding example of what can be achieved by international cooperation and sharing of expertise between countries. Why does it have to take a critical incident like this to make it happen?

Exactly mike. I was having exactly the same discussion with someone yesterday.

8 out, last group tommorow hopefully.
Its probably also bearing in mind Thailand is ruled by a military government still , which means they are a heap better at getting things done like this than a civil goverment, no stuffing around arguing politics.

The third rescue mission is now underway. Started an hour and a half ago.
The plan is to try bring the remaining 5 out today. Hope all goes well.
