Police raided his home yesterday but no reason given or charges laid. Anyone know why?

Something to do with an investigation by the rozzers into drug trafficking involving bikies. Thompson was arrested but later released without charge pending further enquiries. Three others have been taken into custody.

BC, will stand corrected but I think he's been charged but out on bail. Doesn't sound good if true, another tarnished name attached to a certain footy club with "form".

Bomber described (in typical Worst hyperbole) as an "AFL great" today, based on being a 3 times premiership player with the Bummers, and 2 times premiership coach with the Handbaggers.

Is "great" warranted, or deserved?

I read somewhere else Danny Frawley was called an AFL “great” today as well.
Having seen both play good honest players would be the appropriate accreditation to their respective careers but “great” would suggest the reporter didn’t ever see them play at all.

Esserden produce the most “interesting” people, don’t they? And yet, they’re one of the darlings of the east coast.

Come on Beas, don't you know they are all AFL greats or current day they are all AFL stars. Never just an AFL footballer or player.
