Will get a hand out form the Extended VFL - AFL. Nothing will come to Grass roots football in WA because of this.

TOOO many teams in Melbourne. Tooo many teams in the AFL
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Hardly surprising...expect another 5million + in compensation to Jobe over Brownlow loss in next cupla years...read somewhere that was about the value of the medal to a player in future commercial negotiations...this is just the loss at Essendon...would be nice of the AFL to also lay their cards on the table and detail the losses they have encountered with Bombers fans not attending on mass at away fixtures, catering etc....ugly numbers but this club will recover and become a significant earner for the AFL again whereas a club like Gold Coast has the AFL pissing cash in to the wind until its unavoidable eventual demise.....AD''s legacy
