What does this mean for local coverage , My guess is within a few years they will consolidate the ST and Weekend West into one weekend paper.

They will probably destroy it, it is a much better digital news platform that The West Australian/Yahoo 7. And I enjoy being able to comment on most stories on Perth Now. Will the West/7 media mafia put an end to free speech?

Perth Now craps on the West site, Its the highest news traffic site in WA, they would be mad to close it down. But I reckon the Sunday Times print edition is cactus.

Perth media is in such a malaise. Print media stuffed and commercial FM radio catering solely to women with an excessive diet of Pink songs and efforts by other screaming sheilas with not a musical bone in their body.
