why would they launch a legal attack on the afl ?

so considering Essendon were allegedly inept with keeping records of exactly what was being injected, including invoices, I would say ASADA had every right as a leading organisation to go through Essendon to the extent they did and beyond. They are just doing their job. Essendon were the ones who made it all hard by creating these grey area's.

When Essendons senior and highly respected club doctor strenuously advised them to not go down that path of injections, saying himself it was basically to close to the buzz saw so to speak, then that must count for something.

Essendon can run that gauntlet of suing ASADA, thinking this result gives them the red carpet to redemption. But remember, even O.J Simpson got aquitted of murder, but was sued himself in a civil court for $30 million for wrongful death. Yes it doesn't really make sense, but it could end up being the same thing if Essendon get too cute about all this. And it would finish them off as a club completely. Setting themselves up for another whack in the side of the head is ill advised. Right at this point, their chest beating may end up clouding their upcoming judgement.

Doubt Essendon will go after ASADA....but really do hope Dank goes after Caro

Dank and a few others (Bomber and Dean Robinson spring to mind) have been tarnished by this episode, and will probably never work in the industry again.

In todays society they will sue someone, I reckon they will go after both the AFL, because these guys have been pushed out of work and are now not guilty and ASADA because of this ongoing investigation that failed to prove anything
