And if dank & Robinson and whoever else pushed the plunger on the needle told the players that what they were injecting was product A as they had discussed and signed off on but then go and administer them banned product B I can only ask you how could the players protect themselves from these abhorrent actions of people in trust. Doesn't change the case I know but if this is what happened the players should be treated as victims of a crime and not the criminals.

As for the 8 players that didn't agree to the program incl Zaharakis my understanding is that a fear of needles, a phobia I share, led them to refuse the AOD program. Also finding the medias attack of the players about the NAB cup a bit rich. These players are sticking together as a team to support those that are under SCN's and they condemn the fact that they are acting as one, like a team should do. Malthouse even funnier when you look at the importance he ever placed on the pre season comp. Half a squad being suspended in this fashion is unprecedented so of course this was going to need some discussion before the event with the timetable the tribunal has instigated so why the shock that the EFC might not be able to field a team. Maybe they can borrow some bottom 5 players from other squads who aren't getting a game to fill the team like in juniors when one team is short of players to ensure the game proceeds and so these players can benefit from some match practice as well.
