East Perths Foxtel Cup opponents have had a long trip to Perth according to this story in "The Age.

They experienced several delays and an aborted take off. The result is they will arrive in Perth a few hours before the game. Their original plan was to spend the night before the game in Perth.

Reminds me of a Swans v East Perth game in Dampier in 2010 when East Perth left it till the day of the game to travel. The flight was delayed and the game started an hour late.

That is undesirable! Won't have time for a training run upon their arrival I take it? Hope they all rest up before leaving and the late arrival time doesn't affect them too much.

No affect whatsoever, they looked slick, WP will start at long odds to beat them in Melbourne

Couldn't wish for a team not to make a dollar more or NOT to get to a big stage more than the Eagles Reserves

No disrespect to the city - BUT ?? Any one with an answer..

Its going to be a great game me thinks and given the distrust I have with the format the EP club governed by the big bird on high puts team together I have a good feel about this event.
I wonder how many fans of any type will attend the game seeing that Geelong is a bloody COLD city this time of year..
Still - we win this GF and then knock the Big Bird Reserves off 4 days later and nothing will knock the smile off my crusty face - Not even Xmas pressies needed this year hahahaha
