With you there dog. My Grandparents came out here and never got citizenship. They worked their guts out here and Grandad went to war with the Aust army. He might have had a Welsh accent, but he was Aussie through and through. Greigy deserves the accolades and recognition from we Aussies that he is getting.

Born a pom...old man was a real old school pom. I got an aussie citizenship as i needed it for a passport. To me personally it was a piece of paper, in that if the poms ever had to fight against the aussies in a war, im an Aussie..piece of paper or not. Made me laugh we i went to the immgration office and had all these people who spoke poor english questioning me about a country i had lived in before they had born. My taxes etc probably helped build the building they were working in and being payed.

Yes, as far as I know. A private service being held on the 8th of January 2013 in Sydney.
Attended by family, close friends and former colleagues. The family had asked for a very private service.
