With the Town of Vic Pk endorsing the move to Lathlain for the WCE, what will that mean after the current 5 yr alignment? If they re-align with the Dees, I guess EP won't worry too much. They'll have a few flags in the bag and a squillion dollars to boot. But by then, they'll possibly be up against the Bullsharks, Ligers etc....

Don't think there will be another alignment 58 .... I believe firmly that both the WCE & Cockburn will cause absolute trouble & 119% maximum damage during this "agreement" in order to attain their own outright teams

Already we have seen alteration to the agreement before we even started a season ... so get ready for heaps of that behind the scenes at AFLWAFC House

You're probably right. Things will change and that's ok. Everything changes. It's just the way it was done that leads me to believe that the future won't be planned around the fans, but will be around the needs of the AFL clubs.

East Perth & Mandurah have not understood that they will be used as toilet paper with not even so much as the right to treat an injured GayFL player for just one example of many
Certain brands of products will not be able to be displayed , functions outside of GayFL contracts will not be permitted etc etc etc

What I want to see is a manager of a WA player have the balls to include in the contract that his client has the right to play for his original club ... that I simply cannot wait for !!!!

Shark the reason why EP and peel were selected was because they were broke! Based on club finances in 5 years any of the metro clubs could find themselves. In an alignment except joondalup. Unfortunately Perth do look like front runners now due to the ground development at lathlain  Time will tell.

The next machination in this process will, and it is only my opinion, will see -

EF and SF playing out of the same ground and could become our Woodville whoever the joined with,
EP will become the Fitzroy of the WAFL at the end of the 5 years, not ceasing to exist but will struggle big time both on and off the field unless .... ?,
WP will be at Joondy but have even less control over their club than they do now, will still exist but ....
Subi will end up amalgamating with EP after they lose the milch cow at subi oval
Swans will be a medium force in the wafl due to their zoning improving when
Perth become the next WCE bitch ( I wonder who will be mummy, it will be just come and .... mummy's ....)
Claremont will continue to be a force and improve with their club development.

Peel will still be the lead weight in the competition even with Peels partnership with The dorks who will change their name to the Cubbies.

I think that change is likely gather some pace and the WAFL will not be anything like we understand and like it now, change is necessary but ..... .
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended
